Be Real

By in

Last night Dellie and I went to the home of some friends of ours for a Mystery Dinner.  There were several couples and we all had parts to play and costumes to wear and a murder mystery unfolded throughout the evening.   It was a fun experience with messages left on each other’s voice mails the night before.  But at the end of the night we ditched the roles and were our real selves.

Unfortunately don’t many of us play parts on a regular basis.  We are one way with our parents, another with our employer, another with our spouse and another with our friends.  If the various people that you interact with on a regular basis wouldn’t describe basically the same person we have an authenticity problem.  I encourage you to take off the masks and simply be real.
