G.K. Chesterston once said, “There are two ways to get enough.  One is to accumulate more and; the other is to desire less.”    I have an exercise I like to do with groups that I’m speaking to.  I ask them to write down in their mind the figure of the what they would like their income to be.  And then I acknowledge that there are many different answers to that question but that with one word I can sum up what everyone in the group thought to themselves; the word is–MORE.  We’re insatiable aren’t we?  We need to remember Hebrews 13:5 which says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”  As a Christian I’m slowly learning to abandon the word MORE and embrace the word ENOUGH.
