Today in Fairbanks the temperature is extremely cold.  I saw one sign that said –31 degrees.  What surprised me was that I also saw some folks out in front of Planned Parenthood, picketing.  Now that is dedication!  For the last six years I have served on the Board of the Care Net Pregnancy Center here.  I give time and donate money to help women who are struggling with the decision on whether or not to let their babies live.  While picketing is not the way that I have chosen to help the pro-life cause, I hope that each of us will DO SOMETHING.  If every Christian would do what they can then someday we can see our country reject the heinous blood bath that is benignly called a “woman’s right to choose.”  We should be inspired by the example of William Wilberforce who spent decades trying to eradicate the British slave trade.  At the end of his life, after decades of perseverance,  his goal was reached!  Roe V. Wade has been the law of the land since 1973; but some day babies made in God’s image will be safe again.  Hang on.  Persevere.  This fight matters.
