“When God is going to do something wonderful He begins with a difficulty. If He is going to do something very wonderful, He begins with an impossibility.” –Bil Cornelius. I can’t help but think about this quote when I read the great miracles of the Bible. When God lead the Jewish people out of slavery in Egypt and took them right up to the Red Sea there was no where to go. The large Egyptian army was behind them; the deep water in front of them. There was nothing Moses and the people could do. Moses couldn’t pass out a million life vests and water wings and tell the people to swim for it. They had to believe and stand firm in the truth that God had brought them there and would not abandon them. What followed was one of the great miracles of the Bible. The Red Sea parted, the people entered the sea escaping slaves and exited the sea a free people. You just never know what God will do in your darkest hour.
