Lost

I was listening to our local KLOVE radio station the other day.  During the news segment the announcer told a story about a family that went to one of those Corn Field Mazes.  The  parents took their kids into the large maze but couldn’t find their way out.  After quite some time it got dark.  At this point they gave up and called 911!  What a nightmare family outing!  When I heard this story what stood out is that the family finally had to acknowledge that they were lost before they could receive help.  This is the great struggle with doing evangelism in America.  Most people don’t easily accept the idea that they are “lost.”  They can’t imagine that they deserve hell.  As Christians we must boldly share with people the bad news of their lost condition before they see their need for the good news of the gospel.  Hell and Heaven, God’s wrath and God’s grace; let’s remember to be people who share the whole story.
