There’s a surprising incident buried in the great exodus of the Jewish nation from slavery in Egypt that I find fascinating. It took 10 staggering plagues of God on Egypt before the Israelites finally got to leave the nation. But throughout the plagues there were moments when it appeared Pharoah gave up. One time was when God swarmed the nation with frogs. Frogs were everywhere! In their beds, jumping on their food, absolutely everywhere! Pharoah had enough and begged Moses to get rid of them. Moses said, “All right, but when do you want them gone?” Surprisingly, Pharoah says, “Tomorrow.” Now don’t you expect him to say “Right Now!” But he doesn’t. And yet don’t all of us do this. We need to make a change. We need to get rid of a “frog” in our lives and we say we’ll do it tomorrow. I personally like to start diets “tomorrow” don’t you? Let me encourage you to start making changes in your life today.
