Joe, Jack and I returned from 2 1/2 weeks down in Indiana last night. Dellie and the other children were happy to see us and welcomed us when walked into the airport lobby. It was a great moment but I did have to laugh. Within 10 minutes I found myself standing on the luggage conveyor belt (not moving) trying to get my three year old Henry to come out from running down the chute where the luggage comes up from the dark underbelly of the airport. As a gift from my trip I had given Henry a small truck to play with. That he promptly rolled down the shoot to where the luggage comes up to the luggage conveyor belt. To make a long story short we did get Henry back and his truck back. And yes, we were threatened with a $10,000 fine from an unhappy TSA agent because Henry might have “entered a restricted area.” I was reading in the Scripture the other day “give thanks in all circumstances.” Gotta admit I’m still working on that. But nonetheless, it’s good to be home.
Under His Mercy,
Derek Dickinson, Minister
