Children's Ministry

At Journey we strive to teach God's Word with ideas for real life application!

All children are checked in at the Welcome Desk for their classes. Four-year-olds to 6th graders attend service with family until they are dismissed after Communion to attend their classes upstairs. Parents may take their infants to three-year-olds to class down the main hall at any time.

The fifth Sunday of the month is designated as Family Sunday, and children four-years-old to sixth grade stay with their families to enjoy the morning service.

Our curriculum is focused on character values and biblical truths through Bible stories and activities.

Journey Kids' Club

Journey Kids' Club, available for children in first through sixth grade, meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

These gatherings provide another opportunity for children to learn God’s Word and to interact with other Christians in a safe environment.  This also gives parents an opportunity to attend a small group without having to make arrangements for childcare. Each mid-week children’s group is built around fellowship, fun, and learning either Bible navigation skills or an active devotional from the Bible. Our desire is to serve God by providing opportunities to connect with His people and His Word and to help families create a lifestyle of following Christ at home, seven days a week, because our journey is more than just a Sunday event.
