Journey Kids' Church

At Journey we strive to teach God's Word with ideas for real life application!

Journey Kids meet every Sunday with classes for children from newborns to Sixth Graders. All children are signed in at the Welcome Desk where they receive their name tag.

Loving volunteers provide care for newborns through one year-olds while parents attend the worship service. The two and three year-olds’ class provides crafts and stories to help children learn age-appropriate Bible lessons.

Children four years-old through sixth graders are part of Journey Kids, our Children’s Church program which begins at 10am.

Children’s Church starts in a large group format then divides into small groups for application and age appropriate activities.  Each month is focused on a character value such as obedience, love, humility, or service.  Children learn Bible stories which give examples of how to live out these character values.  Our plan is to teach a specific value from different angles throughout the whole month so the children will remember and apply that value in daily life.

Journey Kid's Club

Our Children’s Group meets during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30PM  This provides another opportunity for children to learn God’s Word and to interact with other Christians in a safe environment.  This also gives parents an opportunity to attend a small group without having to make arrangements for childcare.

Each mid-week children’s group is built around fellowship, fun, and learning either Bible navigation skills or an active devotional from the Bible.

Our desire is to serve God by providing opportunities to connect with His people and His Word and to help families create a lifestyle of following Christ at home, seven days a week, because our journey is more than just a Sunday event.
