This bible study begins this Sunday!

Join us Sundays from 8:30–9:15 am in the multipurpose room at Journey Church as Henry Inklum begins a new verse-by-verse study through the book of Ephesians.

A verse-by-verse study moves carefully through Scripture one passage at a time, helping us better understand its original meaning, important themes, and practical application for our lives today.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and grow deeper in your understanding of God’s Word!

Join our verse by verse studies through the book of Ezra and Nehemiah. Explore the meaning and context, ask questions, share insights and grow together.

Nehemiah study starts Tuesday, 22 at 7 pm and the Ezra study starts Wednesday, 23 at 8 am at Journey Church.

Join us twice a month for a meaningful time of bible study, fellowship, and creative connection as we journey through Jesus and Women by Kristi McLelland.

Together, we will explore the stories of women who encountered Jesus and discover how His words, actions, and love transformed their lives.
Along with the study, we will have an optional art project connected to the theme. No artistic experience needed. Just come ready to learn, create and connect.

Journey offers Awana Wednesday nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm, September through May.  Classes are available for 3yrs (must be potty trained) - 6th grade.

There’s a place for you this fall at Journey!

Growing in our faith doesn’t only happen on Sunday mornings. Small groups give us an opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word, ask questions, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships along the way.

This fall, Journey is offering several different ways to get connected. Whether you enjoy studying Scripture verse by verse, discussing a thought-provoking Christian book, or simply gathering around the table for good conversation and fellowship, there is something for you.
Our fall opportunities include studies through Ezra, Nehemiah, and Proverbs, along with book discussions covering topics such as faith, doubt, anxiety, emotional health, and what it means to become a fully committed follower of Jesus.

Some groups meet weekly for several weeks, while others are one-time discussions—making it easy to find something that fits your schedule.

You don’t have to have all the answers or be a Bible expert. Come ready to learn, connect, and grow.

As the temperatures begin to drop, we have an opportunity to share the warmth with individuals and families in our community who may be in need this winter.

Journey Christian Church is collecting new or clean, gently used winter gear for men, women, and children of all ages and sizes. Donations may include coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, and other cold-weather clothing.

Every donated item can make a difference for someone facing an Alaskan winter. This is a simple and practical way for us to care for our neighbors and show Christ’s love through generosity.

Donations are due Sunday, October 11 and can be dropped off in the Journey Church lobby.

Our doors open every Thursday (except July 4th and Thanksgiving Day) at 5:30pm and food distribution starts at 6:00pm.

There is no sign-up required, but please bring a bag or box to carry your food.
