At Journey we strive to teach God's Word with ideas for real life application.
Sunday Children's Church
Journey Kids meet every Sunday with classes for children from newborns to Sixth Graders. All children are signed in at the Welcome Desk where they receive their name tag.
Loving volunteers provide care for newborns through one year-olds while parents attend the worship service. The two and three year-olds’ class provides crafts and stories to help children learn age-appropriate Bible lessons.
Children four years-old through sixth graders are part of Journey Kids, our Children’s Church program which begins at 10am.
Children’s Church starts in a large group format then divides into small groups for application and age appropriate activities. Each month is focused on a character value such as obedience, love, humility, or service. Children learn Bible stories which give examples of how to live out these character values. Our plan is to teach a specific value from different angles throughout the whole month so the children will remember and apply that value in daily life.

THE REFUGE
Sundays at 6pm
The Refuge meets at 6:00 pm on Sundays at Journey Christian Church, located at 1201 Hoselton Road in Fairbanks, Alaska. The Refuge is a resource for individuals who want to move forward from places of hurt and painful habits to a life of thriving as God intended. These meetings are now discussion-based so are no longer recorded for online posting.
